Pitch

This is our pitch for our two film opening ideas to our media class. We pitched our ideas to our class so we could gain some feedback from an unbiased audience, below is our pitch:





The general feedback we got back from the class was positive. I think the positive response might of been because me and my group have chosen to do a romantic comedy, which is different to the rest of the classes ideas. The two different film ideas that we came up with were as followed:

Idea 1: A young couple walking down a street to the girls parents house, while the girl is giving her boyfriend quick fire questions about her parents which are comical and switching scenes to the girls parents house, where the mother is cooking dinner while the father is bickering about meeting the boyfriend.

Idea 2: A couple are at the girls parents house having dinner, as the girl picks up he glass it fades to the girl picking up a glass at a party like a flashback. We then see the scene of how her and her boyfriend met.

A vote was taken, the class agreed that the first idea was there favourite, this is because it is more comical compared to the second idea, which focused more on the romance side of the genre. The first idea was also our favourite idea so we are now going to focus on making it very comical as well as romantic.
